Signature Witnessing
"Signature witnessing" means a notarial act in which an individual:
(a) appears in the presence of the notary and presents a document;
(b) provides the notary satisfactory evidence of the individual's identity, or is personally known to the notary; and
(c) signs the document in the presence of the notary.
Rural Signature Services LLC Policy
General Notary work starts at $55.00 ($45.00 travel fee and a $10.00 per Notary signature fee.) This fee includes 20 miles to and from the appointment, any additional mileage will be calculated and charged at the standard federal mileage rate of .67 cents per mile.
All fees are due at the time of the in-person appointment unless otherwise negotiated, even if the Notary service is not performed due to unforeseen circumstances on your behalf (minus the notarial signature fee.)
Travel fee's are subject to change without notice. Fee's must be agreed upon before any appointment is accepted.
If you are unable to make your appointment for whatever reason, please call/text/e-mail me as soon as time permits, preferably 24 hours prior to appointment so we can reschedule.
If you no call/no show for your appointment, the appointment fee will still be charged regardless of notarization completion.
After hours/weekend travel fee's start at an additional $20.00 on top of the original travel fee. After hours begin at 6pm MST and end at 6am MST.

Documents will be signed and dated on the date of notarization

Signer(s) must sign the notary journal, provide full name, current mailing address and may be asked to provide a right-hand thumbprint.
